Village Commons works with all people - especially those in underserved communities - to strengthen Arkansas communities and to secure healthy, sustainable futures. 

Village Commons seeks to build community and work in ways that offer a better life for all Arkansas villagers while nurturing the environment for future gernerations.

Congratulations to Village Commons founder Gerald Cound!
The Clinton Foundation selected Gerald to be the Clinton Library's honorary Two Millionth Visitor because of his lifetime of public service. Gerald shares the honor with educator Dr. Ann Robinson of UALR.
Citing the words of Bengali poet, dramatist and philosopher Rabindranath Tagore, Gerald's acceptance speech was simply this: “I slept and dreamt that life was joy. I awoke and saw that life was service. I acted and behold, service was joy.”

 The Basic of Growing Sprouts - Saturday, May 14 · 11:00am - 2:00pm, The Green Corner Store Eat your greens and have fun growing them yourself! Learn about the health benefits of eating sprouts. Liz Sanders will demonstrate two methods you can use to sprout your own greens and grains to enjoy them year-round. No charge to attend. Refreshments provided. There will be two demos at 11am to 1pm.
